Our fiberglass division specializes in the manufacturing, repair and maintenance of FRP fan blades, more commonly known as fiberglass blades / impellers or Fibre Reinforced Plastic blades to be more accurate.
Fiberglass fan blades have been replacing its steel and aluminium counterparts for various reasons, but mostly because of the strength to weight to cost ratio.
The light weight, more durable and less corrosive nature of a fiberglass cooling tower fan makes perfect sense and we can manufacture a New or replacement blade for your specific application ranging from 300mm to 9200mm.
Unfortunately, fiberglass or FRP Cooling Tower blades are not indestructible and will also need maintenance or repairs to be done from time to time.

Although fiberglass products are not supposed to retain water, we have found water retention in most of the fan blades that we have attended to. Water is mostly ingested through damage caused to the leading edge or tip of the blades. Water retention is in our opinion the number one cause of delamination or failure of cooling tower blades.
